Usually I have a knee-jerk reaction against anything that uses the word 'establishment', but I think it is demonstrably justified in this context; for the last two years or so my opinion of Stuckism, and reaction to it whenever I have encountered it empirically, has been word for word that of the main Guardian art critic (whose name I can't actually remember now and can't be fucked to look it up, Im late for lunch as it is), and I never gave them any credence whatsoever. I actually met Charles Thompson once, and really regret not talking to him properly now, but at the time I had this wonderful sense of superiority because there he was, a Stuckist, and so therefore at best a well meaning imbecile. Ugh I feel like an idiot now.
